How to Play NetQuake- NetQuake runs on the original Quake data (or the free shareware). For online play you need an engine that speaks the NetQuake protocol: QSS-M (a purpose-built NetQuake multiplayer client), DarkPlaces, or FTEQW.
- Connect to classic community servers listed here: CRMod, Rune Quake, and Deathmatch. Vanilla QuakeSpasm / vkQuake are single-player engines and won't connect.
