QuakeHub QuakeHub.net Every Server. Every Quake. TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

QuakeHub is a free, independent, fan-made live server browser for classic Quake games, offered as a website (quakehub.net), a Discord bot, a public JSON API, and a Quake 4 master server. By using any of these, you agree to these terms.

1. The service is provided “as is”

QuakeHub is a hobby project provided on a best-effort basis with no warranty and no service-level agreement. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and the service may change or shut down at any time without notice.

2. Acceptable use

3. Public API

The API under /api/v1 is free and open for anyone to use. A link back to quakehub.net is appreciated but not required. Endpoints are versioned and intended to be stable; we’ll avoid breaking changes within a version.

4. The Quake 4 master server

We run a public master server at master.quakehub.net for Quake 4, whose official masters no longer answer. Anyone may point a server at it. It is best-effort like everything else here: registering means we will query your server to confirm it is reachable before listing it, entries that stop answering are dropped automatically, and we may remove an entry at our discretion. It is open source - we would rather the scene had several independent masters than depended on ours.

5. Not affiliated with the rights holders

QuakeHub is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by id Software, ZeniMax Media, Bethesda Softworks, Microsoft, or Valve. “Quake”, “QuakeWorld”, “Quake II”, “Quake III Arena”, “Quake Live”, “Quake 4”, “Quake Champions”, “Enemy Territory: Quake Wars”, and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Server and player information shown is public data broadcast by the game servers themselves, or published by Steam.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuakeHub and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
