1. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is no longer sold, and its login/master servers are dead.
2. The active community runs a Client Manager that will download the necessary game files & let you connect to servers and can be found on ETQW.org.
3. This installs the unmodified Splashdamage client. The Client Manager just adds the command-line arguments Windows 8/10/11 need to connect properly, plus quality-of-life extras like resolutions above 1080p and alt-tab support. The Client Manager also only lists safe and vetted servers.
4. The Client Manager also works with Linux by using Proton Experimental mode.
5. If you want to host your own server you can do it easily with the Server Manager at ETQW.org. This will automatically list your server in the Client Manager.

Joining a server You can connect to servers manually by IP via the console, but it is not recommended - the Client Manager is more convenient with single-click connectivity and also confirms safety. Manual IP connect only works on pure vanilla servers, not on modded ones.
